Sovrappensiero

Sovrappensiero Design Studio was founded in 2007 through the collaboration between Lorenzo De Rosa and Ernesto Iadevaia, two Campanian designers based in Milan.

Recognized as some of the most intriguing emerging designers in the Italian design scene, they have demonstrated over the years their ability to approach projects from multiple perspectives: from experimental research to industrial production, from limited editions close to the refined world of art design to small functional innovations, as well as exhibition design, interior design, and corporate projects.

Their work merges influences from street culture with inspirations from contemporary art and design, creating a distinctive, respected, and sought-after design language. Today, they collaborate with several prominent Italian design brands, including Porada, Bialetti, Mamoli, JCP Universe, NAVA, Vibram, WayPoint, and Manerba, as well as with institutions such as the Politecnico di Milano, the University of Bologna, and NABA.
