Servomuto
Graphic designer Alessandro Poli and architect Francesca De Giorgi have been designing and producing lampshades together since 2007.
The duo draws inspiration from carefully selected vintage shapes sourced from an archive dating back over 50 years. They then reinterpret these forms by incorporating unusual cuttings of reclaimed materials, such as army blankets, aged velvet theater curtains, or screen-printed fabrics featuring innovative and provocative imagery created in collaboration with various artists.

STANZA METAFISICA
An axonometric perspective hollowed out by the volumes of space gives an impossible view of a square - a place in Italy amongst the colours, the compositional elements of the Renaissance and the precise geometry from the metaphysical paintings.

JUNGLE
(Come closer and observe) Forest and jungle, tropical and alpine landscapes, conifers and exotic plants- all blend together to create a perfect world with unclear boundaries and shattered distances.

VISTA ZENITALE
A reworking of Carlo Scarpa’s photograph: the stairway for the Olivetti store in Venice. It is upside-down, in a vertical position, surrounded by items and scenes that reminds us of skies and gardens.
