Gianluigi Landoni

Gianluigi Landoni graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano. In 1985, he founded the design trend group “Amalgama.” He worked for the Rodolfo Bonetto studio from 1988 to 1990, and since 1997 he has been a partner at the Progetica Design studio, where he carries out research and development projects in industrial and product design. He also founded the multidisciplinary studio ALTROdesign with Rosaria Sofia Galli. Since 2001, he has worked independently as a consultant for “design-oriented” companies in various production sectors, while also focusing on installations and creations for furniture companies in the hospitality and commercial sectors. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and competitions, receiving awards and recognition, including being shortlisted for the 1991 Compasso d’Oro and later winning the Compasso d’Oro in the 1998 edition. He is a member of the Permanent Design Observatory, the ADI Design Index, and the ADI Lombardia Board of Directors.
