Bellavista & Piccini

A young and avant-garde Italian studio, it specializes in architecture, interiors, and product design. The studio is an expression of the successful synergy created by its founders: Giancarlo Bellavista, trained at Federico II in Naples under Riccardo Dalisi, and Matteo Piccini at the Politecnico di Milano under Pierluigi Cerri.

This heterogeneous mix of rigor and eclecticism forms the foundation of the studio’s philosophy, which interprets design as the confluence of multiple disciplines, ranging from art to literature.

CITTÀ IDEALE BIFORA CON DOPPIO ORDINE

A metaphysical atmosphere, soft colours and elegant lines. A personal interpretation from the Renaissance conducted on the geometric construction of utopian cities. ‘The ideal cities’ project deliberately renounces using perspective and the illusional third-dimension to commit to a two-dimensional structure typical of the Byzantine and pre-Giotto paintings resulting in a domestic fresco of a suspended urban landscape.
