Paola Bernardi

Paola Bernardi studied in London at Camberwell College of Arts, where she earned a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design. During that time, she attended weekly and intensive fashion illustration courses at Central Saint Martins College of Arts. In London, she worked for publishing houses and fashion magazines, specializing in book and magazine design. Upon returning to Italy, she worked in the fashion and design industries, contributing to the redesign of the logo and coordinated image of Maison Valentino. From 2002 to 2017, she collaborated with the graphic department of Lissoni Associati, Graphx, as an Art Director for selected clients.

Always interested in art, in 2009, she created her own space for creative freedom, where graphic design experience, illustration, and material and technique experimentation merge into an intimate and personal artistic exploration. Her work investigates the boundary between art and design, resulting in illustration, performance, sculpture, and artistic engraving projects. Today, Paola Bernardi is fully dedicated to artistic research in her Milan studio, integrating art, illustration, and graphic design into her personal journey.
