RAPPORT

The starting point for this project is a reflection on the principle of the relationship, the technique used to repeat a pattern in order to create a visual effect of uniformity by using individual sections, in this case strips of paper. Instead of using the relationship to confer a homogenous effect, the challenge for the designer is how to identify potential individual expressions with a continuous print on a roll of paper. The final result is produced by a rhythm which changes according to the height of the space where the wallpaper will be hung.
